About Me

IMG_5170.jpg

Alene Boghosian began video editing at the age of 9 when she and her younger brothers would create short films about their toys and pets.  Over the years she explored other forms of art such as illustration and music which helped broaden her perspective as an artist. Diving back into filmmaking in college, she found her passion in video editing.

Since the 2020 Pandemic, Alene has worked with a variety of clients filming and editing projects ranging from school fundraiser videos to editing educational medical videos.  In March 2023, Alene was announced as one of the three winners for the International DC Film Festival Trailer Making Contest. Her trailer is posted on the official Washington, DC International Film Festival YouTube channel. Along with her freelance work, she also works on personal projects. She enjoys creating her own version of movie trailers from existing films as a way to practice the art of storytelling through editing.

Alene graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in May 2023 with a degree in Film & Video Studies and a minor in Criminology.
